Dr. Fritsch was on staff at and had his office at Riley Hospital for children for over 20 years. He achieved full Professorship while at Indiana University. Dr Fritsch has done thousands of pediatric surgical cases during his career. Dr Fritsch has written a Pediatric book: “Handbook of Congenital and Early Onset Hearing Loss.“
Pediatric Otology encompasses a wide variety of ear problems. The issues range from ear tubes for ear infections to cochlear implants for profound hearing loss. Ear infections and their sequelae are commonly seen and treated in this office. Cochlear implant surgery and rehabilitation are performed in this office.
Usually the children’s Pediatricians or ENT-Otolaryngologists will initially see and treat the problem and then refer the children for further evaluation and expert treatment.
